Your medical record is strictly private. We will not release information regarding your condition to your employer, friends or relatives without your permission. The only exception to this is when required by law.
Patients are seen by appointment only. In most cases, new patients are seen by way of referral from other physicians.We try our very best to stay on our schedule, although emergencies or other delays sometimes arise. Please assist us by being on time for your appointment. Our physicians are participating providers with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama, Medicare, Blue Advantage, Humana, and Healthsprings. Patients are responsible for any co-pays, deductibles and non-covered charges required by your insurance company/plan. Patients are required to pay co-pays and deductibles at time service is rendered.
In instances where a third party is presumed liable for your incurred expense as a result of an accident or illness, our clinic will look to the party receiving the services for payment. We do not look to the settlement of long-term court cases or settlement of disputed claims for payment. Workers Compensation claims will be handled per regulatory guidelines.
Our clinic accepts cash, check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover. (We do not accept American Express.)
During regular office hours, any medical-related calls are channeled through the office nurse. The nurse will call you back after discussing your call with the doctor.You are encouraged to call and report any change in your condition or if you have any questions regarding your treatment, medications or possible complications.
